Welcome to Scouting!

All boys are welcome to join Boy Scouts between the ages of 11 and 18, or after completing the fifth grade, or Cub Scouts earning the Arrow of Light Award and at least 10 years old. Some boys join Boy Scouts directly from Cub Scouts, but many do not have any scouting background. Older boys are also welcome to join. Within a short time, all boys are a member of a patrol and are working on advancements and skills to prepare them for camping.

Where to Start?

We are thrilled that your family is interested in our Troop and want you to be assured that the leaders of Troop 127 always have your scout's future and safety in mind. We know you may have a lot of questions so we invite you to visit the national Boy Scouts of America web site. You might also want to visit the Seneca Waterways Council web site.

If you have any questions about Troop 127 or of joining the troop, please feel free to contact the Scoutmaster at bsatroop127ontario@gmail.com, or stop by one of our troop meetings and talk to the leaders.
