We are Scouting America Troop 127, located in Ontario NY. We are affiliated with the Seneca Waterways Council, Waters Edge District, and are chartered by the Myers-Ingraham American Legion Post 428 in Ontario. We are grateful to the North Ontario United Methodist Church for the continued support of the troop for the use of their fellowship hall for meetings and storage area for our equipment. The support from both of these organizations is a testament to their dedication to providing the youth of our community with programs to support their growth into amazing people who live by the Scout Oath and Law.
We are committed to providing an excellent Scouting program for all Scouts in the community of Ontario, New York. We are a boy-led troop designed to use the experience of older scouts to enhance the knowledge and experiences of the younger scouts.
Meetings
Troop meetings are held each Monday from 7:00 - 8:30PM during the school year at the North Ontario United Methodist Church. Stop by any Monday to learn more about what we do and consider joining, or send us an email at bsatroop127ontario@gmail.com. We follow the Wayne Central School District calendar and do not meet during December, February, or spring break. Check the calendar to be sure.
Join our Facebook group, Troop 127 Ontario. Scouts and parents use this Facebook page to post pictures of scouting events and to facilitate general conversation among scouts and parents in the troop.
